AHMG started an educational program at Mission Hospital in 2007 through quarterly lecture series on diverse clinical topics that was targeted for bedside nurses on the floors and in order to improve the quality of care and reduce the variance in care for the most common diagnoses managed on the floors on daily basis.
These quarterly lectures were started at Mission Hospital in October 2007 with topics included: “Evaluation & Management of End Stage LiverDisease”, "VTE (DVT & PE) Diagnosis and Management"......with great reception and large attendance of nursing staff and physicians.
