November,
2007 AHMG website was launched in November 2007 in order to expand its services and presence in the community, especially at local hospitals and in order to improve communication among the hospitalists, referring PCPs and nursing staff at the hospitals.
Fara Kardan, MD, founder and Medical Director of AHMG was interviewed and appeared in a segment of “American Health Journal” program on PBS (KCET) channel in 2007 to discuss the value of the “Hospitalist Programs” in general and in addition to the unique hospitalist model which was implemented by AHMG at Mission Hospital for “Unassigned Patients”.
AHMG implemented and successfully operated an extremely efficient, very high quality state-of-the art “Hospitalist Program” for “unassigned ED patients” at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California through its “unique” innovative hospitalist model from December 2005 thru March 2008.
AHMG started an educational program in 2007 through quarterly lecture series on diverse clinical topics that was targeted for bedside nurses on the floors and in order to improve the quality of care and reduce the variance in care for the most common diagnoses managed on the floors on daily basis.
